Hollie
Hollie is a beautiful black lab who was rescued 2 days before Christmas. We received an emergency call from the shelter supervisor... some jerk dragged Hollie behind his car.
Hollie needs almost daily bandage changes to keep her painful, abraded paws clean and healing.
Of course, Hollie is also heartworm positive. With the severe shortage of the treatment for heartworm, it has become very expensive since vets must import it from Europe.
Hollie is an amazing dog. Despite the cruelty inflicted on her and the pain she must have been in, she happily greeted our volunteers. She is a gentle girl who will be an amazing pet for her future family.
